This sixth volume of the Responsa of the Va’ad Halakhah brings to the public twenty responsa written between the years 1995 and 1998. These responsa are written in the spirit of the Masorti/Conservative Movement which searches for halakhic solutions to modern problems. They deal with a wide range of subjects, such as “Recording God’s name for Educational Purposes”, “Women in the Minyan and as Shelihot Tzibbur”, “The Conversion of Children Whose Mother does not Plan to Convert”, and more. In addition, the volume includes “Two Halakhic Reactions to the Assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin z’l”. A third part of this volume is dedicated to “A Symposium in Honor of the Tenth Anniversary of the Va’ad Halakhah”.
