This book on the laws of mourning by Rabbi Isaac Klein, was translated and adopted for Hebrew speakers by Rabbi David Golinkin and for Russian speakers by Rabbi Mikhael Kovsan. It not only summarizes the laws pertaining to mourning, but also clarifies and explains the psychology and philosophy behind the laws from a modern point of view. Rabbi Klein believed that in our time, there is a need to explain the Halakhah and its purpose in order to bring the Jewish people closer to its tradition.
